Hi everyone this is my first blog so if you have anytips i sure would love to hear them. i just thought it would be nice for people to be able to learn from eachother and meet through other sources than facebook. we would like to know how you steep your tea. how many minutes and at what temp you do so. we take custom request at our tea room of the temp you wish it steeped. if your a new be we just take care of it for you. please come in and see us if your passing through.
I love the way this place treats you like royalty from first step into the door,and their raspberry tea is great you just can't get enough of it. the place is all around a five star place in my book.
I have to say that Fergusons Tea Room is an excellent place for the average(JOE) to go and get a great late afternoon snack and probably the best cup of tea in the state. The atmosphere is indescribable , once I set down with my tea and my maple scone , I couldnt help but feel like I was wearing a thousand dollar suit and was eating at the finest restaurant in New York even though i was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a company teeshirt in a little town in WV . I had to have one of the beautiful servers come and sit down with me and tell me the history of the little shop , and it was quite the story . And come to find out , it has a new owner and he is going above and beyond to have his customers feel like they never want to leave and he wants suggestions and comments on what people would like to see and have in his place. I would like to see a weekly book club there where people take turns reading different chapters of the latest best sellers , and when I mentioned my idea to him i belive he took it to heart and he gave me an honest handshake when he said he liked my idea and he would do everything he can to get that started . Stoping at Fergusons Tea Room was the highlite of my day and i cant wait to go back. So thanks a million for the smile that you put on my face.
We will add that cinnamon scone mam. thanks for the feed back. please call for reservations to make sure we have them baked. We alternate the scones by days but if you call we will make that special batch just for you.
WOW! Just found you on fb and looked up your webpage. I am a TEA LOVER!!!...but have never found my way into a tea house before. I am soooo excited to find you and will be making my way from Beckley to Hurricane in the very near future! Godspeed!!!!

I'm so happy you are reopened! I was so upset! Please include the cinnamon scone to the menu. It is out of this world!
